PAGE LAYOUT CLASSES

Ages
17 & up
Have fun learning InDesign, the state-of-the-art graphic design text layout
program. Apply basic elements of design to create dynamic practical documents,such
as letterhead, business cards, resumes and posters. Projects to be designed
will be chosen based on the needs and interests of class participants.

From pencil to ink! Take your drawing
and observation skills to the
next level, using a variety of media with a variety of subjects.
KIDS KREATE A BUSINESS!

Ages 10—16
Create a business! Then create your business logo,
business card, poster
and brochure using InDesign, the
graphic design text layout program. Learn
how you can be creative using the basic rules
of design. Share your work at the “business fair” on
the last day of class.
DRAW, PAINT, SCULPT
with Kayleigh Mohr

Ages 6—10
Students will create and complete a new project each day in a different
medium: Drawing, Painting, Printing
and Clay Sculpture. Please bring a smock.
KIDS CRAFTS

Ages 9 & up
Imagine! Create! Develop! Students will complete a festive project each
day, from sand art to stamping. Each
day the student will bring home
a new project.
MATHTERPIECES

Explore the world of mathematics through
an artistic lens. Create projects
which deepen understanding of number, data, and geometry
in a fun and creative way. Students will use a variety of materials to
make their own mathterpieces.
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
with Mylessia Tkacs
June 29—July 3 / M—F / 10—noon
Ages 10 & up
Learn to shoot on location and bring your images
into Photoshop. We
will learn sofware basics from modifying
existing photographs up
through higher-level topics like using
layers and collaging. Bring a digital
camera if you have one!
INTERACTIVE MUSIC AND MASK MAKING WORKSHOP
with Kath Bloom & Tom Handford
July 9 &/or July 30 / 9:30—11:15
Ages 5—11
Students will sing and create their own
music with singing and percussion! Design
their own masks which they can take home! Body
movement, music and creating all in one morning!
